What is Hypnosis ?
We all experience hypnosis when we slip into daydreams or reverie. How many of us who drive have experienced 'automatic driving'? Or so engrossed in a book or watching a film that we are unaware of what is going on around us? Hypnosis is a natural state of relaxation and during this state our conscious mind (the analytical part of us) relaxes and allows us to access our subconscious.

Clinical Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy was fully endorsed by the British Medical Association in 1955 as a legitimate and effective form of therapy. Since then the medical profession increasingly understands the benefits of hypnosis and doctors are frequently referring patients for hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy refers to the management of a psychological problem in the trance state. It is classified as a 'brief therapy' which means that the number of sessions can range from one to several but on the whole no more than six in total. The application of hypnotherapy is highly flexible and every treatment is naturally tailored to your own individual needs.
